Meet Dr. Paul Kim

“I have found such a love for dentistry and being able to serve the needs of my patients. I find so much joy by just listening to their stories and being able to better improve their oral health for the future.” – Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim was motivated to join the oral healthcare field after a mission trip in high school to Yucatan, Mexico. He attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.

Seeing the need of dentistry in Mexico inspired him to continue to serve not just his patients but communities in need all over the world. He works as a volunteer dentist with RefugeeOne Dental Clinic, which offers no-cost dental care to Chicago-area refugees, many of whom have never had the opportunity to see a dentist. He also volunteers at the food pantry with New Life Community Church.

As a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Kim has taken courses on cosmetic and restorative procedures such as porcelain crowns, onlays, inlays, bridges, and veneers, as well as surgical procedures such as extractions. He has a special interest in full smile makeovers and using modern technology to further enhance a patient’s oral health for the long term.

Originally from Cleveland, Dr. Kim currently resides in Chicago with his wife and miniature golden doodle Marlow. Outside of work, you will most likely find Dr. Kim on the golf course, at the dog beach with Marlow, or checking out new coffee shops!
