Meet Dr. Maria A. Jones
Dr. Maria A. Jones is a Latin/American dentist born in Toledo, Ohio, raised in Venezuela, and trained in both hemispheres.
She attended the Universidad de Carabobo for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and received a master’s orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics after completing a three-and-a-half-year residency program. During her training, she learned different treatment philosophies and trained in lingual orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, and dentofacial orthopedics (for the treatment of little ones), and routinely treated cases with a combination of orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery.
Dental aesthetics with a facial approach has been a passion of Dr. Jones from her years in dental school, and since then, she has devoted six years of full-time postdoctoral training to study and gain the expertise to be able to offer her patients the most comprehensive, yet delicate of treatment plans that will satisfy their needs in a discreet way. She loves clear braces, clear aligners, and lingual braces for that very same reason!
After working in Beverly Hills for two years, Dr. Jones became a member of two very cool clubs: the Aesthetic Excellence Study Club of Beverly Hills and the Orthodontic Study Club of Beverly Hills. Their continuous meetings keep her sharp and flex her creative muscles all the time, inspiring her to love her profession more, to do more, to offer more, and to practice beautiful, evidence-based dentistry.
During 2020, Dr. Jones completed two years of her second postdoctoral program as an advanced clinical trainee in the restorative dentistry department in UCLA. There, she gained expertise in minimally invasive veneer preparation, digital smile design, CAD/CAM, implant rehabilitation, and life-like direct and indirect restorations. This makes her a well-rounded specialist: able to offer her patients every aspect of accurate diagnoses, creative planning, and careful treatment of their dental aesthetic and functional needs.
